Badrumshistorier (Bathroom Stories) is a web series of three episodes written and directed by Kaya Pakaslahti. I was the producer and responsible of the production from start to finish. Gathering a team, planning the shootings in a tight cooperation with the director K. Pakaslahti and cinematographer S. Feldt. I was the FAD on set.

Hilda är arbetslös och Lo jobbar på åldringshem. De är priviligierade loosers men i badrummet kan rumskompisarna existera på sina egna villkor. Hit når inte dömande röster och patriarkatets värderingar. Naket och fräckt, ärligt och starkt. Den unika berättelsen om Hilda och Lo är ett undersökande av att vara ung kvinna 2017 – i en intim miljö som vi alla känner till och besöker dagligen.

Stories about girls are often considered uninteresting in a patriarchal world. Therefore Pakaslahti, as a form of protest, made a series about girls hanging about without the intention of pleasing anybody – and through this discuss feministic themes.
Kaya Pakaslahti is a talented scriptwriter and director who create accurate dialogue and lovable characters. Starring Josefine Fri as Hilda and Sannah Nedergård as Lo.
